It was her first day after marriage and she was to cook her first meal for her new family in her new home. But there was a problem. She did not how to cook. Then how did she prepare her first meal?
Oindrila is an ambitious working woman and she wanted a partner who gave equal importance to her career aspirations as much as his own. "I was looking for someone who encourages me to grow in my career," says Oindrila.
Subhashish is someone who believes in mutual respect and giving importance to one another. But he is also someone who gets nervous around women.
So when they met for the first time, Oindrila broke the ice and started the conversation. He says, "I was really nervous to meet her and had no idea what to speak."
Their interactions made Subhashish and Oindrila discover that they share many things in common. "Our thoughts matched. I also found out that we share the same spiritual beliefs, like she also is a devotee of Ma Durga," says he. Their connection grew stronger when they shared stories about Durga Pujo.
"I had thought that she knew cooking but one day she told me that she knew nothing about cooking," he says. Oindrila adds on to this and states that she didn't even know how to chop the onions.
When the day finally arrived that she had to cook for the first time for her new family, she had no idea what to do. "But he came into the kitchen and helped me prepare maggi and we served it for breakfast," says she.
Oindrila claims that her husband is very encouraging and also very patiently gives her cooking classes. Susbhashish also cannot stop praising his beloved wife because he says, "I have been learning many things from her. My wife constantly motivates me to do things. Not just this, but she always ensures to keep the family together."
They ensure to be on the same page all the time and believe in doing things together, be it visiting an old age home every weekend or just enjoying cooking together.
Now every dish that they make is always served with love!
Wishing them lifetime of togetherness!
